Dear Church family,

I pray you are all doing well. This crazy weather from warm one week to snowing the next is always discouraging. However I also know this is always Gods plan and I just need to be patient.

Announcements:

Pastor Tony attended a District Pastor’s Retreat at Epworth Forest last weekend.

We will be having First Feasts on April 6th. The theme is “brunch”. If you would like to bring a dish to pass contact Seth Lohr. Everyone is welcome to attend whether you bring a dish or not.

Purchase an Easter lily to help decorate our sanctuary. Cost is $10 for a six-inch pot (four to five blooms). Please pay by check made to St. Mark’s United Methodist Church or in cash. We can also acknowledge your donation in honor or memory of an individual or individuals. Orders are due by Wednesday, April 2nd. You can take your plant home following our Easter service on April 20th. Contact Jo Geleske at 574-536-1440 or at ejgeleske@gmail.com.

Thanks to Rich Everingham who fixed the speakers on the sides of the sanctuary.

Joys and Praises:

Heather Allen gives God praise for the people of St. Mark’s who have loved her through hard times. She is thankful that our church is accepting of everyone.

Sylvia White praises God for her nephew who turned 21 on Sunday.

Kim Everingham praise God for the students and others who participated in the Color Guard state finals.

Angelica Ditmars praises God that her brain scan results were good.

Prayer Concerns:

Kim Everingham asks for prayers for safe travels for those attending the National Color Guard competition this coming weekend. Also pray for her friend Joy whose cancer has returned.

Doris Rassi requests prayers for her brother Glenn who is not feeling well.

Angelica Ditmars asks for prayers for her mental health and her marriage.

Sylvia White asks for prayers for her upcoming doctor’s appointment.

Danni S. asks for prayers for her friend Steve who was in a terrible car accident and needs surgery.

Challenge for the week:

Each day, say yes to the work of God within you. Then live your life expressing this new heart that God is creating in you.

Blessings,
