Dear Church Family,
I hope everyone enjoyed the cooler weather this weekend. It was nice to get some things done around the yard without sweating! We enjoyed Josh’s birthday party on Sunday with the siblings and grandkids. I can’t believe he is 17!
Announcements:
The August Guiding Council meeting has been cancelled. The group will meet on September 15th after the service.
We will have a Men’s Retreat on September 20th from 6-10 pm and 21st from 9-noon. Here at St. Mark’s Church. Festivities will begin on Friday at 6 pm with a meal, a guest speaker, and fun activities. Saturday will start with breakfast followed by more fun!

Pray for Lara Perry who will have surgery this week.
Pray for a family whose mother-in-law recently died.

Alan Taylor requests prayers as he has been diagnosed with a torn aorta artery. He will be undergoing surgery soon.
Pray for Rachel Fairchild who has been struggling.
Kim Everingham asks for prayers for a co-worker who has a brain tumor and is undergoing chemotherapy.
Doris Rassi asks for prayers for the family of her cousin who recently died at the age of 105!
Karla Slovinski requests prayers for all the students, teachers, and staff members, as school starts this coming week.
Kim Everingham requests prayers for students going to college, especially Calvin Martin.
Jim Polhemus asks for prayers for his nephew Carl, who has special needs and is looking for a home.
Pray for Gabe and Cynda Murray whose uncle just passed away.
Danni S. asks for prayers for her sister, Lori, who has a lump under her arm and is scheduled for an ultrasound and mammogram.
