I hope everyone has been staying warm. It has been so cold out even my dog didn’t want to go outside!

Announcements:

The Conference is offering workshops again. Online registration is required for those wanting to attend. If you are interested in any of these workshops please email me and I will send you the link. Sorry that I didn’t make that clear last week!

Here are the details:

  • Saturday, February 1, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. CENTRAL TIME/9:00 a.m. to Noon EASTERN TIME, via ZOOM

Workshops include (you may only register for ONE per session, however you may register for both weekend sessions to attend two different workshops):

  • Outreach: Food Pantries and Beyond; led by Pastor Carl Hetler (Danni Shearer, Seth Lohr)
  • Planned Giving and Endowments; led by Manet Shettle, IN United Methodist Foundation
  • Chat with the Chancellor: Legal Tips for Every Church; led by Sarah Jenkins
  • Beyond Sunday Morning: Innovative Worship and Study; led by Pastor Mike Beezley
  • Leading Worship without Musicians; led by Pastor Chris Matthews

Joys and Praises:

Heather gives praise that Chloe is visiting from Indy! (This is Heather’s oldest daughter)

Prayer Concerns:

Dave asks for prayers for Stanley passing.

Pray for Sylvia and her family with the loss of her Dad. Pastor Tony did the funeral yesterday.

Prayers for Work Release coming back.

Update on Skylar, she has gone back to school.
