Dear Church Family, January 2, 2025
I hope everyone enjoyed their New Years Eve and New Years Day celebrations! I spent yesterday taking down the Christmas tree and decorations.
Announcements:
This Sunday will be First Feasts of beef and noodles. Pastor Tony’s birthday is tomorrow so everyone should be sure to tell him happy birthday!
Starting now the 52 club will only operate on Tuesdays from 9-11 am. Usually people only come on Tuesdays anyway. Of course if there is a member in need I will always help them no matter the day!
January 12th we will be taking down the Christmas decorations immediately following the service.
Guiding Council will meet Jan 19th immediately following the service.
Joys and Praises:
Becca Spaulding gives praise that Felix doesn’t need the helmet anymore. He seems happy and healthy.
Seth gives praise for the smaller Bible study which allowed for some much deeper conversations.
Prayer Concerns:
Angie Altenhof asks for prayers for Kathy Smedziuk who is having cataract surgery this morning.
Sylvia asks for prayers for her Dad, the results from the scan came back. He has been given 3 months to a year to live.
Chaise asks for prayers for both him and Katie who are both sick.
Pray for Kim Everingham who had to have a heart procedure, and is now home recuperating.
Challenge for the week:
As you go through out your week, consider: who’s agenda are you serving? Yours? Or God’s?
Blessings,
Danni Shearer
