I hope everyone has big plans for Thanksgiving! This will be my first Thanksgiving without my daughter, Juliet. I am thankful for facetime and still being able to see her!
Announcements:
Sunday, November 24th after the worship we will have “Hanging of the Greens.” This is a time that we decorate the church for Advent and Christmas. Please plan to attend.
You may order a poinsettia to decorate the church for Christmas. The cost is $8.50 per plant. Contact Jo Geleske at jegeleske@gmail.com or 574-536-1440 to place an order. The last day to order is Sunday, December 1st.
Area Free Thanksgiving dinners:
Goshen First Church 214 South 5th St. from 11-1pm if you need it delivered call the church at 574-533-9518.
Goshen Moose Lodge 388 Johnston St. from 1-3pm.
Joys and Praises:
John Harvey is getting out of Work Release this week.
Aimee praises for the prayers for her sister.
Nick Smedziuk gives praise for meeting his wife 20 years ago.
Danni S. gives praise that Juliet’s lock jaw is doing better and she was able to see a doctor sooner than planned.
Prayer Concerns:
Heather D. Allen asks for prayers for recovering from her hip replacement. (I talked with her today and she said she is doing better today, but is still stiff.)
Aimee asks for prayers for her sister, Angel who was referred to another specialist.
Angelica asks for prayers for those with mental health issues.
Heather asks for prayers for those fighting addiction.
Pray for those fighting addiction, sobriety is hard.
Pray for the band kids.
Zay asks for prayers for a coworker Jackson Green.
