Dear Church Family,

I hope you all had a good weekend! I spent my Sunday doing training for Stephen’s Ministry. If you are not familiar with this ministry please feel free to ask me about it.

Announcements:

The Guiding Council will meet next Sunday, November 17th immediately following the worship service in the sanctuary. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Sunday, November 24th after the worship service we will have “Hanging of the Greens”. This is a time that we decorate the church for Advent and Christmas. Please plan to attend.

You may order a poinsettia to decorate the church for Christmas. The cost is $8.50 per plant. Contact Jo Geleske at jegeleske@gmail.com or 574-536-1440 to place an order. The last day to order is Sunday, December 1st.

Heather D. Allen is having her hip replacement surgery on November 18th, I would love to supply some meals for Heather while she is recuperating. Since it is for only one person any leftovers would be appreciated. If you have any food that you would like to get to her you may call me at the church. She lives just a few blocks from the church and I would be able to drop off food to her. Please feel free to call me at the office or email me if you would like to help in this way.

Joys and Praises:

A heartfelt thank you to all the veterans who served in the military.

Angel reminds us that “God is Good”!

Heather D. Allen rejoices that she was able to see her daughter compete in a sports event. She also thanks God for the help that she received when her car ran out of gas. She praises God for being sober for 17 months!

Praise God for a baby that is healthy.

Prayer Concerns:

Heather D. Allen asks for prayers as she will be having hip replacement surgery on November 18th.

Pray for the people in jail and in Work Release.

Pray for Don Pollock’s health.

Kim Everingham asks for prayers as there are changes in her job.

Pray for Alan Taylor that his health might improve.

Pastor Tony’s Challenge:

Find people who are in your places and share the Good News of Jesus’ love with them!

Blessings,

Danni Shearer
